Daily writing prompt
What makes a good leader?

A good leader listens. Too often, leaders make the mistake of talking too much. While we may have valuable insights and deep knowledge of our craft, we can become overly eager to share what we know, rather than taking the time to listen to others. True leadership requires restraint as much as expression. A good leader is also a strong communicator, and effective communication begins with listening. When leaders listen well, they gain trust, uncover better ideas, and create space for others to contribute meaningfully.
