In some ways, today was a typical day. I started with a short devotion in my patio, watched the birds as they visited my backyard, then watered my plants. Then, I made a trip to a coffee shop with my husband and daughter, but did not get my usual dirty chai latte; instead, I opted for a regular brewed coffee of the day, which was caramelicious and added almond milk. After we got back home, I started with my to-do list, which was pretty long for the week. I started with the most important one—sending book two of The Green Ridge Series to my editor, then continued working with my next manuscript.
